HCF Director of Programs Co-Authors Grantmakers in Health Publication

Our Director of Programs, Nora Garcia, was named a Grantmakers in Health 2020 Terrance Keenan Institute Fellow last year. This month, Grantmakers in Health published a piece Nora co-authored with some of the Fellows for their Views from the Field titled “The Moment to Transform Health Philanthropy is Here.” 

The piece centers on the idea that building authentic relationships with community partners requires health philanthropy to shift from a transactional approach to using the power that lies inside a foundation to heal community.
