The HUB Project Manager

Background

The HUB, powered by Aunt Bertha, is a free, digital resource directory and referral platform, co-sponsored by Community Mental Health Board of Oak Park Township, Community Memorial Foundation, Healthy Communities Foundation, and River Forest Township. Through The HUB, individuals can search for and find local free and reduced-cost social services and programs. Additionally, nonprofit health and social service providers can efficiently send and receive referrals within a secure closed-loop network.

 

As The HUB’s footprint in Chicago and western suburban Cook County and southeast DuPage County expands, we seek a Project Manager to guide the implementation of The HUB’s roadmap, designed to strengthen and expand community access to a wide range of health and human services. Our vision is that by using The HUB, local residents and community partners have greater access to community resources, programs and services that help people lead healthy, full, and resilient lives.

 

The Project Manager role requires a self-directed, highly organized, creative individual who is ready to wear multiple hats. The role includes but is not limited to: managing general HUB communications; coordinating community HUB trainings; running data analytics to drive continuous improvement and decision-making; and providing assistance to HUB users in consult with Aunt Bertha technical support. Are you someone that sees the ‘big picture’ while also tending to the details? Responsibilities

        • Project Management
          • Manage the implementation of The HUB’s roadmap and workplan and recommend adjustments as needed.
          • Act as a liaison between funder partners and participating organizations.
        • Communication & Engagement
          • Act as an ambassador to The HUB initiative by creating and stewarding relationships that advance the Initiative’s goals.
          • Manage general HUB communications and content creation (i.e. email, newsletter, social media)
        • Coordinating Funders Collaborative
          • Facilitate bi-weekly funder group discussions, navigate between each participating HUB
        • Training
          • Coordinate monthly trainings for community and grantee partners with Aunt Bertha trainers.
        • Technical Assistance/Capacity Building
          • Serve as the main day-to-day contact for service providers and provide systems support/troubleshooting
        • Analytics
          • Analyze HUB data and identify service gaps, collaboration opportunities between service providers, improvements in HUB usage/engagement among platform users.

Experience

        • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of project management experience
        • Detail-oriented
        • Experience with content management systems and social media platforms (please indicate which tools/platforms you use/have used in your cover letter)
        • Relationship-builder and “connector”
        • Comfortable with analytics and data
        • Excellent communicator (written, verbal)
        • Familiarity with The HUB Region (primarily west suburban Cook County and southeast DuPage County), through work or personal experience.
        • Familiarity of the regional nonprofit/social service landscape a plus.

        • This is a 1-year contract position beginning in October 2020; 20 hours/week at $24/hour.
