Jackie A. Rodríguez (she/her) is the Director of Communications at Healthy Communities Foundation. She leads the Foundation’s comprehensive communications strategy that amplifies the critical work of its partners and region and strengthens its position as a thought leader in the philanthropic sector. She believes we can change minds, heal, and grow by telling stories, sharing ideas, and offering different perspectives.
Jackie brings over 15 years of marketing and communications experience in the private sector and as a consultant. Before joining the Foundation, she held positions in project management, creative development, and marketing operations at Discover Financial Services.
Jackie is a Steering Committee member of Chicago Latinos in Philanthropy and was named a Líderes Fellow by Hispanics in Philanthropy in 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from DePaul University and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Along with her husband and two children, Jackie lives a few blocks away from her childhood home in Little Village, a community within the Healthy Communities Foundation region. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, is always interested in hearing audiobook recommendations, and loves learning about natural healing modalities.
