Candid Resources
Funders frequently request demographic data from nonprofits in various formats, creating a repetitive burden. To address this, Candid launched the Demographics via Candid campaign, encouraging nonprofits to submit their demographic data in a standardized format on their platform. In turn, funders can streamline grant applications and reports, allowing them to analyze consistent demographic data for a comprehensive view of equity across the sector and among grantees over time. HCF recently partnered with Demographics via Candid, encouraging grantee partners and funder peers to participate. Here are some resources to get started:
