The discussion, hosted by Araceli Gómez-Aldana from WBEZ Chicago, highlighted Latinas in Chicago for Women’s History Month and talked about the adversity they face and their role in their communities.

Maria talked about her “sheroes” and how they have inspired her throughout her life and career. She also spoke about the pandemic’s impact on Latinas from the perspective of social determinants of health and the need for more female representation in philanthropic leadership.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
